| The Barcelo Santiago is a four star hotel situated in a privileged position from which guests can overlook not only the Los Gigantes cliffs but also the Atlantic Ocean and the La Gomera island. The promenade that can be found right in front of the hotel with its bars and restaurants leads guests directly to the beautiful beach. The hotel and all of its 282 standard and 124 superior rooms have been refurbished recently and therefore offer modern installations and comfort down to the last detail. There are a total of 24 suites available in the hotel. All rooms are air conditioned but superior rooms also feature a designer bathroom.   At the buffet restaurant guests can enjoy meat, fish, pasta and numerous other dishes while admiring the view of La Gomera. Other dining options include the a la carte Grill Restaurant, the Spanish Flavour Tasca-Bar and the Swimming pool Snack Bar. An entertainment bar and a cocktail bar are available for drinks. Two of the four swimming pools that can be found in the grounds are heated and one is for children. There is a Jacuzzi for those who want to relax. While parents enjoy the sun or have a quiet drink in the bar kids will be busy at the mini club which is available for 4 to 12 year olds. A multi sports court, a games room, table tennis, a gym, rifle shooting, billiards, French bowls, aerobics and dance classes are some of the sports activities at the hotel. On the nearby beach you will find facilities for sailing, catamaran, windsurfing and diving. |
