| Located on the east coast of the island and just a short drive away from the international airport is the Hotel Barcelo Thalasso Spa. The hotel offers views of the Fuste beach and easy access to the same one. It is a newly built four star hotel just 12 km from Puerto del Rosario and close to restaurants and shops. A total of 462 rooms are housed within the Barcelo Thalasso Spa. All rooms have a balcony, air conditioning, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, internet connection, safe, mini bar and a private bathroom with hairdryer. The hotel caters for those with mobility problems. Two restaurants can be found in the hotel. There is the main buffet style restaurant which offers international cuisine and traditional dishes and there is the Gril Restaurant I in which guests can try grilled specialties. A snack bar and a lounge bar take care of guests between meals.
During leisure guests can explore the island of Fuerteventura and get to know the surroundings. Those who prefer to spend a day or two in the hotel also have a variety of things to do. A multipurpose court, paddle, tennis and football courts, mini golf, a gymnasium, French bowls, volleyball and archery are the sports facilities.
